Kate’s passion for helping others originally led her to the nursing profession, graduating from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Prior to starting a family, Kate’s professional career included bedside nursing at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, clinical trial coordination at Thomas Jefferson University, and clinical editing at Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
More recently, Kate held various positions in clinical research project management and community health nursing before she decided to utilize her medical knowledge in the legal profession. She graduated from Villanova University’s paralegal studies program and worked for a medical malpractice defense firm before happily landing at Boyd & Early.
Kate is thrilled to work with an experienced and dynamic team of attorneys and staff who passionately advocate for their clients. She is an affiliate member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and a member of the Chester County Paralegal Association. When Kate is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. Her hobbies include painting, cooking, reading, and photography.
