Emily is an alumna of Shippensburg University, where she studied English, Psychology, and Disability Studies. During her time at the university, she developed a strong commitment to service and supporting others through her involvement with Best Buddies and Alpha Phi Omega, a community service fraternity.
Following graduation, Emily relocated to California, where she pursued a career in behavioral health with a particular focus on working with children. Upon returning to the East Coast, she transitioned her professional path toward the legal field and attended Pierce College to pursue her paralegal studies. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to concerts, and pursuing her love of traveling.
